I could read that Hymn all day and it wouldn’t get old. I love the Marines and I can’t wait the three years I have left of being a civilian to join up. Thank you all for you bravery and valor. Semper Fi.

To this day that Hymn brings tears to my eyes. In a quote from one of my Drill Instructors… ” Yes I fought at Belleau Woods, yes I was at Guadalcanal, and Iwo Jima.. Hell I was in Vietnam”. He would then bust out in a Marine corps. shout signing that hymn… He was a decorated war vet from several other combat missions but of course a little too young for those battles. He explained to use that reading our history, Marine Corps. history he was part of it and would carry it in his heart and never forget what those men did for us.

Hi I am 12 years old and when I become a Marine I will serve my country as all the marines have. I thank with all my life to all the soldiers [especially Marines] for all the things they have done.
